I caught this last night on VH1 and I’m glad that they put it up for stream online. The newest Rock Doc follows the connection and influence between Hip-Hop and the now infamous LA Riots of ’92. If you are old enough to remember, this captivated the nation and changed the course of gangsta rap as we knew it. One not to be missed.
Next up in Vh1′s popular documentary series is QB’s finest, Nas. Take a sneak peek into his Behind The Music where they cover everything from past to present day. It’s gonna be interesting to hear what he has to say about the whole Jay beef 10+ years later, and his expensive split from Kelis. Look for it this Thursday night at 9pm est., only on Vh1.
The Kang and his Queen return for the 6th episode of their critically acclaimed VH1 show, The Family Hustle. TIP takes charge when he finds out his daughter has a boyfriend. Imagine coming to the door and finding out T.I. is the girls father. Yup, no good.

Lotus wasn’t the only spot The King paid a visit to last night. Late Night With Jimmy Fallon was another destination as he spoke on the origin of his name, his new book Power & Beauty, his new VH1 reality show The Family Hustle, the upcoming album Trouble Man, Booty Tag and more. His reaction to the Booty Tag request from his daughter still kills me.
