Video: J. Cole Plays Golf In Dallas

On 10/17/2011, in Videos, by Obese

Young Simba traded in his basketball for a golf club in Dallas while on the Cold World Tour last month. Not so sure Tiger is in trouble. The good news for Cole is, he has one of the top albums in the country, so I think he has something to fall back on. Cole World: The Sideline Story out now.

Video: J. Cole – Daddy’s Little Girl

On 09/25/2011, in Videos, by Obese

Giving us one more video before his debut drops this Tuesday, J. Cole hit’s us with track 18 off the album, Daddy’s Little Girl. I don’t usually hype up an album, ecspecially when I thought I was getting something mediocre. When I tell you this album could be considered a classic one day though, I sincerely mean that. I let the project run from begining to end a good amount before I made my judgement. He delivered and then some. I’m talking “5 Mic” status. Call me crazy, but I bet you put this one on in a few years and agree. Cole World: The Sideline Story is available for pre-order now and everywhere September 27th.

J. Cole’s album hit the internet late last night, much to his dismay. I really couldn’t help myself, I had to take a listen and see what we are about to receive. I gotta say, this one went above my expectations. It’s pretty incredible. He’s been playing with our emotions lately releasing a few sub par songs that we aren’t used to hearing from Young Simba. This on the other hand is full of emotion, energy and life. The track that seems to be gaining the most attention brings Missy Elliott back to the forefront like she never left us, entitled Nobody’s Perfect. They sure aren’t but this track is damn close. Cole World: The Sideline Story is available everywhere September 27th. You can pre-order your copy today though. Sorry, stream only on this one.

It’s almost time for J. Cole to give us his debut album that we’ve all been waiting for. Amazon UK has kindly given us a taste of what to expect with a preview of each song, and from what I heard, he did not dissapoint. There was doubt after the release of his first single Work Out, but I think the fans are getting what they want. Take a listen and pre-order yourself a copy. Cole World: The Sideline Story releases everywhere September 27th.

The most anticipated song from J. Cole’s debut album has arrived. Young Simba and his boss Jay-Z floss their skills over a very dubstep, club influenced beat produced by the man himself. Yea, this goes way harder than what we’ve been hearing lately. This needs to be a single, ASAP! Cole World: The Sideline Story drops September 27th, and if you weren’t thinking of copping it, you are now. Clean for now. Updated with the dirty version.
