Music Bomb: Cassidy “R.A.I.D.”

On 01/06/2013, in Music, by SincerelyRoni

In other beef news, Cassidy dropped a 10 minute long diss responding to Meek Mill’s “Repo.” The beef started in July, when Cassidy retweeted fans on twitter questioning Meek’s loyalty after signing to MMG. Tweets and rumors of rap battles later, this has carried on into the new year. Does anyone even care anymore?

On Basqui we received Off-Beat Love. On Life In Reverse it was On-Beat Love. Now, Ryshon Jones returns with the third song in his series, No Pulse Love, produced by Geo Sanchez. “This one is personal” says the Philly emcee. The track will live on his freshly announced mixtape In Theory: B.D.S.M., but he goes on to say “this version WILL NOT be on the project.” Stating he has a diffrent version in store for the official release. You can expect the tape to be released sometime around November, but in true Ryshon fashion you can also expect the unexpected.

Why should art have to be explained? According to Ryshon Jones, it shouldn’t. On his latest release, Diamond Studded Mind, the Philly emcee wears his mind as a chain, proving his theory that “the dark mind still shines.” The song, produced by Toronto’s Talen Ted, is the first off Ryshon’s upcoming project In Theory: BDSM (Blood Diamond Studded Mind), which you can expect to be released sometime around November. What does money mean to you?

As we continue to catch up with Meek Mill on the road we find the young MMG artist headlining his first national tour. He still has time to give back though as we watch him present an injured bike rider with a $20,000 donation. Who said this man was a bad guy? You know he had to bring the toys out too. Look for him in a city near you soon. And do remember that his Dreams & Nightmares album drops October 30th.

I remember when I attended a Lupe Fiasco concert about 3 years ago and I saw this dude performing and I was thinking “he’s dope who is this?” It turned out to be Dosage, an artist from Philly who is actually apart of The All City Chess Club with Lupe. Mad respect goes out to him as he put together a remix for his song Which Way with 17 other Philadelphia artists. Myself, Dizzle Dizz, Chill Moody, STS, Mont Brown, Pate and many others included. You cant be mad at this!

Philly’s own Grande Marshall comes through with his debut project 800. I’ve been waiting to hear this. I tried to listen to this last night but I was unable to function due to Henny & Coke, but the project is dope and I’m rooting for him. I suggest you go cop some weed before listening to this project by the way. Just a suggestion.
