It seems as though B.I.G. is still teaching lessons from beyond as 2 Chainz reveals to Big Boy on LA’s Power 106 that he had the chance to chop it up with Ma$e recently, and he gave him the same advice that Biggie gave him back in the day. Now that’s pretty dope if you ask me. You can tell it really meant a lot to him.
DEAD at the beginning! Jacques Morel says…

Why the question mark? Well, there’s been plenty of rumors and speculation of 2 Chainz inking to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label. They were at an all time high and thought to be clarified when Yeezy hit the world with the tweet below earlier…
2 Chainz is charging 100k for a verse now cause he’s G.O.O.D!!!!!!

Then Tity spoke with Bootleg Kev below and MTV above and didn’t confirm or deny that what everyone has been thinking for months now is reality. So is he part of the all-star roster? It sure seems like it. Stay tuned for more details.
It’s tha world! Well, pretty much, as we find Young Jeezy in Paris on the move through Europe. While in The City of Light the CTE boss showed off his two million dollar tour bus, partied at Club Queen, ran through interviews, and then smacked the stage of Le Bataclan. TM103, available now.
Shouts: Rap-Up
While in New York, K.R.I.T. paid a visit to 106 & Park where he dropped off his new video I Got This, and spoke to Terrance J & Rocsi about his debut album Live From The Underground, 90′s Southern Hip-Hop, making the video and what went into the creative process behind it, and more. That Magic warmup is tough!
All roads lead to June 5th…
A hectic tour schedule doesn’t mean Cinematic/Def Jam artist Big K.R.I.T. and company can’t have fun on the road. Check out some of their backstage antics in the third episode of Road Less Traveled. Big K.R.I.T. also takes some time to answer #AskKRIT Twitter questions from the bus. Directed by Steve-O-Graphy. Edited By A Slick Jackson Film.
Hit the jump for the freshly announced Live From The Underground tour.
This is really what it all comes down to. Sure, 2 Chainz could ride the feature wave for a while and make good bread off of it because he’s in such high demand. After that dies down though, your gonna need your own music and solo career to rely on. To make sure that happens the newest Def Jam signee drops the first official single No Lie, featuring Drake, off his upcoming album Based On A T.R.U. Story. Grab that August 14th.
Update: CDQ/Dirty added! Grab it on iTunes.
Remember when Kanye used to make normal, cliche Hip-Hop videos? Yea, me neither…
Filmmaker Ruth Hogben collaborates with award-winning musician Kanye West to create a film for his single Lost in the World. The song, which features Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, is taken from West’s fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Hogben’s piece breaks the mould of popular rap aesthetics while still celebrating the extraordinary talent that has made West a modern icon.
