Well that was obvious from the jump Twist. Anyone that can rap as fast as the Chicago emcee and stay as consistent as he has over his long career clearly has some wires crossed. Peep the new single off his still-to-be-named mixtape, hosted by DJ Don Cannon, coming soon. The Legendary Traxster on the beat.

I’m not sure how a lot of you are gonna feel about pouring up the morning after Cinco De Mayo, the Mayweather fight and Kentucky Derby. It was a hell of a day for poppin’ bottles yesterday. If that’s your thing though, who am I to stop you. The Kidz and Bun already beat you to the jump on the single off Occasion. Rex Arrow Films on direction.
Remember when Kanye used to make normal, cliche Hip-Hop videos? Yea, me neither…
Filmmaker Ruth Hogben collaborates with award-winning musician Kanye West to create a film for his single Lost in the World. The song, which features Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, is taken from West’s fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Hogben’s piece breaks the mould of popular rap aesthetics while still celebrating the extraordinary talent that has made West a modern icon.
Last week, in a big fuckery move, the Chicago Police Department and House Of Blues banned the L.E.P. Bogus Boys from performing on a bill. They said their music is “too violent”, like they aren’t speaking the truth or something. Being the rebel that A$AP Rocky is, he took part of his Chicago set last night and brought the Low End Proffesionals out on the stage, who appropriatly performed Chicago Niggas and Fuck CPD. They also gave us a new single, Benjamin Frankin while Rocky surfed the crowd. This is what rap is all about. Buck at the system!

I was contacted by Good Music to record the verse and hook for Kanye’s remix of Chief Keef’s I Don’t Like. I said “Cool! have him come by my studio, and I’ll get this done for you.” Anthony replied “The kid is on house arrest. You gotta record him at his house.” I was like no problem, so I called my videographer and bodyguard, and we went to Chief Keef’s grandmas house where he is staying while under house arrest.
I get to the house and set up my equipment. I have everything all set to go ready to record, and Chief Keef didn’t have his verse written yet. Kanye wanted a new verse for the remix. I thought to myself “Oh man! We’re going to be here for a while.” Just as I sit down and get comfortable, he’s already done writing his verse. IT TOOK HIM LITERALLY 3 MINUTES.
This kids got some serious talent. It was a interesting experience bringing a studio to a house, but everything worked out well, and this remix is dope.
Hip-Hop at it’s finest.
The Low End Professionals hit the kitchen with The Chef…
“Just to be able to work with a legend like Raekwon was enjoyable,” they say. For Raekwon, it was being able to work with up-and-coming act that he respects that made the track and video special. “To be able to bless something with new and upcoming talent was real. I think we all walked away with a new energy for hip-hop.”
The title to this one is right on point!
