After making her return from a six year hiatus a few weeks ago with her new single Big Hoops (Bigger The Better), Canadian songstress Nelly Furtado is ready to hit the promo scene by releasing the visuals to go along with the track. Her fifth studio album The Spirit Indestructible drops June 19. Lil’ X on direction.

He’s done it again folks. The kid from Harvard who’s been tossed aside so many times has made that Knicks uniform shine brighter than it has in years. Tonight, in an effort that had Jeremy Lin score 27 points and 11 assists, the young point guard all but stole a game from a Raptors team that lead for 59 minutes plus. With about a minute to go he made a tough three point play in the paint to tie the game and with less that a second to go he drained a 3 pointer from the top of the key to take the lead for good. It feels so good to be a Knicks fan for once. #LINsanity lives on another day.

Here’s a random Drizzy cut featuring Weezy that just landed in my inbox. This is rumored to be on Take Care, which hits virtual and physical shelves November 15th. This version may not be the final from what I’m hearing, but it will suffice for now. This one is a ballad, so you know the ladies will be all over it. Tunechi has cleanup duty with the usual verse full of witty punches.

Artwork: Drake – Take Care

On 09/24/2011, in Artwork, News, by IllTracks

Drake releases the official cover for his upcoming sophomore album Take Care that’s due out the same day as his birthday, October 24th. At the bottom you can see a lil message Drake left along with the artwork. Take Care!

Feels like it’s been so long. Is life moving so fast in this generation that when we desire something it begins to move in slow motion? Are we just used to getting what we want right away? Or do we require one another to feel right about all that is going on around us? Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? Either way, your life and mine are scheduled to meet on October 24…I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
