Stray Bomb: Rickie Jacobs – Sour Cream

On 11/09/2012, in Stray Bomb, by Johnny G

Rickie Jacobs releases Sour Cream video and personally I love it. The song is produced by Keishh, a dope female producer from the DMV area, which compliments Air Jacobs perfectly. Even Rickie’s right hand man Buck Marley makes an apperance! The video was shot and edited by Last Rights x Elephant’s Purple. Once again, personally I love it, wink wink…enjoy

Buck Marley put together his second cypher in a series of five called Flame On Cypher Series. He grabbed one of BombOnEm’s family in Ryshon Jones. Everyone had a solid verse and this beat knocks. Can I get some more of Ryshon rapping fast like this? I’ll let Buck take it from here.

Welcome back to the Flame On Cypher Series, where some of the most promising artists from the rising class will be aligned over productions from the musical genius known as Street Scott! For the
second entry, we have a dope mix of artists including PenDragon, Rico Blox, Ryshon Jones, KM and StarrZ! Turn up the volume knob and allow the future stars to shine! And that’s a wrap! Flame on!

Album: Rickie Jacobs – Die Brilliant

On 09/18/2011, in Albums, Music, by Obese

Here’s a post I’ve been looking forward to making since the day I saw the cover. The family Rickie Jacobs is celebrating his 25th day of life on this rock, and instead of us giving him a present, he flipped the script and gives us his debut album, Die Brilliant.

They say every day a star is born. Twenty five years ago on this day, September 18th, a star was born. He’s now known as Baltimore’s finest, Rickie Jacobs. Today, on his birthday, he blesses the game with his debut album, Die Brilliant. Executive produced by Street Scott, this project holds 14 records of pure brilliance. It’s Rickie Jacobs’ gift to you. Your gift in return would be pressing play and allowing the talent within Rickie Jacobs’ heart, body and soul to blast through your speakers at obnoxious volumes. This is merely the beginning. It’s a MoonLite Club thing, and soon, you will know what this movement is all about. Die Brilliant is more than a project. It’s a message. It’s a lifestyle. And we don’t have far to go. Let’s toast to Sweet Revenge. Live epic, Die Brilliant!

The MoonLite Club member is out to prove to those that have slept on him that he is much more than just another name in the game. Rickie Jacobs is brilliant. Enjoy this free treat, and if your feeling it like I know you will, support good music and purchase the deluxe edition with bonus tracks on Tuesday. Hit the jump for the tracklist and download.
