Montreality ran into Daddy Fat Sax while he was across the border. They discussed what type of student he was in school, job’s he had growing up, the keys to his success, literature, his upcoming album Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors, Andre 3000, movies, his legacy and a lot more. Can’t wait for that album!

As part of Converse’s newest 3 Artists, 1 Song series, Gorillaz get in front of the cameras and shoot a video for their James Murphy and Andre 3000 collabo track, DoYaThing. Enjoy!

Music: Drake – I Do (Remix)

On 02/10/2012, in Music, by IllTracks

Drake was supposed to originally appear on the official version of I Do, but for some unknown reason he didn’t. So here is the alternate version with a verse from Drizzy, courtesy of Young Sav.

All I can really do is shake my head at this video. She really had an all-star line-up for her Sleazy 2.0 remix, but doesn’t get any of them to be featured in the video. But here you go anyway. Let’s hope this isn’t actually the official video.

OK, before you hit play I need you to know this snippet does no justice at all to the full song. When I had a chance to attend Bobby Ray’s Strange Clouds listening session I got to hear Play The Guitar and it’s a very big record. Not only are B.o.B and Dre both on the strings, they both bring their ATL flow over chords that just straight ride out. Yep, that’s a TIP sample on the hook too. It looks like were going to be getting the full track on December 27th via Amazon. Stay tuned for that. Strange Clouds the album drops in March of 2012.

This is a helluva line-up if you ask me. Here’s one of the remix’s some most of us have been waiting for. Ke$ha turns her single Sleazy into a remix, and gets Lil’ Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, T.I. and Andre’ 3000 all to add a verse. She had her thinking cap on when she was deciding who to put on the remix. Sorry, stream only on this one.
