This is the first time I have ever posted two artists in a row that I rarely ever listen to. I never listen to Banks, only when I’m on that old G-Unit. But this track is straight fire. Jahlil Beats deserves most of the credit for this evil ass beat.
Since J.Cole hit 2 million followers, he let go probably the best song I’ve personally heard from Cole. I am not a fan at all of Cole. I thought his album was complete trash. I wanted him to win so badly. He deserved it. Well he really did win with the album sales, Roc Nation, and success. So who am I to say he didn’t win. He just idn’t win in my book. But now he blesses us with this and WOW! I love this track.
The duo Mach Five from Atlanta and Detroit native Danny Brown get together for a track off of Mach Five’s upcoming Ratchet Shit Vol. 1 presented by 2DopeBoyz and OG Ron C that will be released on February 28th. Danny Brown has gained a huge following since his XXX mixtape dropped. His weird and unusual style has brought a lot of light to his movement. I don’t get why all of the sudden Molly has become the drug for rappers to rap about. It was big back when I was in high school but rappers seem to be bringing it back. #MollyBack
On Monday 2-20-12 students at Georgia State University as well as the general public got to spend an afternoon with Grammy Award winning artist John Legend. Georgia State University holds a Distinguished Speaker Series on their campus. For this installment John Legend spoke on education, and the importance of continuing your learning process long after you leave college. Detroit based group Doughboyz Cashout were just spotted at one of T.I‘s video shoots in Atlanta a few days ago. Being from the Detroit area, I always love when I get to post some Detroit music.
